MK PMC is proud to have supported the delivery of the Urapuntja Health Service Aboriginal Corporation (UHSAC) Staff Accommodation Project, providing much-needed accommodation infrastructure to support healthcare professionals servicing the Utopia region.
The project involved the delivery of three purpose-built accommodation units designed to improve staff wellbeing, support workforce retention and strengthen the capacity of UHSAC to continue delivering essential healthcare services across more than 16 homelands.
Delivered within a remote community environment, the project required extensive stakeholder coordination, contractor management and careful planning to navigate the unique challenges associated with regional and remote construction.
Throughout the project, MK PMC provided project management and contract administration services, supporting the client through planning, procurement, delivery and handover activities.
In addition to the accommodation units, opportunities were identified to maximise community value through the reinvestment of surplus project funds into additional community infrastructure, resulting in the delivery of an outdoor shaded gathering space for staff, visitors and community members.
The project reflects MK PMC’s commitment to Building More Than Infrastructure by creating practical outcomes that support people, strengthen organisations and deliver long-term community benefit.
