James Mayo

Director | Co-Founder

James Mayo is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander man, born and raised in Darwin, Northern Territory. Coming from a large family, James developed a strong appreciation for the importance of community, culture, relationships and supporting others from an early age.

Throughout his career, James has remained committed to creating positive outcomes for people and communities across the Territory. His professional background spans health, community engagement, program delivery and stakeholder management, providing him with extensive experience working alongside government agencies, Aboriginal organisations, community groups and service providers.

As Co-Founder and Director of MK PMC, James brings a people-first approach to every project. He understands that successful outcomes are built on trust, collaboration and genuine engagement, and he is passionate about ensuring projects create meaningful benefits that extend beyond the immediate scope of works.

James plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships and community-focused project delivery, helping organisations navigate complex challenges while maintaining a strong focus on practical outcomes and long-term impact.

Nurdiah Mayo

Director | Co-Founder

Born and raised in Darwin, Northern Territory, Nurdiah Mayo brings extensive experience across project management, business management, finance, stakeholder engagement and strategic advisory services.

The daughter of parents who migrated to Australia seeking greater opportunities for their family and future generations, Nurdiah's values have been shaped by resilience, hard work and a belief that meaningful success is built through perseverance, service and creating opportunities for others. Their journey laid the foundation for the person and leader she is today and continues to inspire her commitment to making a positive impact within the communities she serves.

Throughout her career, Nurdiah has built a reputation for delivering complex projects, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and developing practical solutions that create lasting outcomes. Building her career as a young single parent in industries traditionally dominated by men strengthened her resilience, determination, and accountability, qualities that continue to define her leadership style and approach to project delivery.

Her experience spans Defence, health, government, community and private sector environments, where she has successfully led projects from planning and procurement through to delivery and handover. She has also played a key role in securing funding and supporting business growth initiatives, helping organisations access opportunities, build capability and achieve sustainable outcomes.

As Co-Founder and Director of MK PMC, Nurdiah is passionate about helping organisations, businesses and communities turn ideas into reality. She combines strategic thinking with practical delivery, ensuring projects are managed with integrity, transparency and a clear focus on long-term value.
